Please read carefully — freight carriers no longer accept concealed-damage claims unless damage is noted at delivery.

1. General Receiving Instructions
At Vis Racing, every part is fully inspected and securely packaged before leaving our facility. While we take every precaution, freight shipments can experience damage during transit.
✔ Count & Verify Your Shipment
- Confirm the number of boxes or crates delivered.
- Ensure it matches your order or packing list.
✔ Inspect the Exterior Packaging Immediately
- Check for dents, punctures, crushed corners, tears, broken straps, or forklift marks.
- If you see any issue, write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing.
✔ Take Photos
- Damaged area
- All sides of the packaging
- Shipping label
- Product (if opened)
2. No Concealed Damage Policy
Freight carriers no longer accept concealed damage claims unless “DAMAGED” is written on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
- If damage is not noted on the POD, the carrier will deny the claim.
- Vis Racing cannot file a claim or recover compensation.
- No free replacements or refunds can be issued for unnoted damage.
3. Refusing a Damaged Shipment
If the packaging is severely compromised, you may refuse the shipment.
Write on the POD: "DAMAGED – REFUSED"
Take photos of the damage and refusal slip.
4. Contactless Deliveries
- Inspect immediately if freight is left without signature.
- Photograph any damage.
- Report issues the same day.
5. Driver Refuses Inspection
If inspection is not allowed before signing:
- Write "DAMAGED – DRIVER REFUSED INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt.
- Take photos of the package.
- Inspect contents immediately after delivery.
6. Driver Time & Unloading Policies
- You are entitled to reasonable inspection time.
- Drivers do not assist with unloading.
- Liftgate service must be selected at checkout.
7. Crate Delivery Instructions
- Inspect crate for dents, cracks, punctures, or forklift damage.
- Write "DAMAGED" on the POD if any issue is found.
- Refuse only if crate is severely damaged.
8. Delivery Confirmation & Risk of Loss
Once the carrier marks the shipment as delivered (scan, POD, signature, or photo), risk of loss, theft, or damage transfers to the customer.
9. Summary: How to Protect Yourself
- Inspect immediately
- Take photos
- Write "DAMAGED" on the POD
- Refuse only if severely damaged
- Report issues the same day
