Receiving Instructions (Summary)

To protect your order and ensure any potential freight damage claims can be handled properly, please follow these instructions at the time of delivery.

1. Count & Verify Your Shipment

  • Before inspecting for damage, count the number of boxes or crates received.
  • Confirm that the quantity matches your order or packing list.

2. Inspect for Damage Immediately

  • Carefully inspect the outer packaging for dents, punctures, tears, crushed corners, or any signs of mishandling.
  • If you notice any damage at all, clearly write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing.

Be sure to take photos of:

  • The damaged area of the box or crate
  • The shipping label
  • Any visible product damage (if the package is opened)

3. For Severe Damage — Refuse the Shipment

  • If the box or crate appears heavily damaged or compromised, you may refuse the delivery.
  • Clearly write "DAMAGED" as the reason for refusal on the delivery receipt.
  • Take photos of the damage and the delivery receipt showing the refusal.

4. Contactless Deliveries

  • If the shipment is delivered without a signature, inspect it immediately upon discovery.
  • If damage is found, take photos right away.
  • Report the damage to both the freight carrier and Vis Racing on the same day of delivery.
  • Delays in reporting may result in the carrier denying the claim.

5. If the Driver Refuses Inspection

  • If the driver does not allow inspection at delivery, accept the shipment with caution.
  • Before signing, write the following on the delivery receipt:
    • "DAMAGED"
    • "DRIVER REFUSED INSPECTION"
  • Inspect the shipment immediately after delivery and take photos of any damage.
  • Contact the freight carrier and Vis Racing right away if any issues are found.

6. Delivery Confirmation & Risk of Loss

  • Shipments are delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.
  • Once the carrier records the shipment as Delivered (via delivery scan, Proof of Delivery, signature, and/or delivery photo), the shipment is considered delivered.
  • At that point, risk of loss, theft, or damage transfers to the customer.
  • Please monitor the delivery address and inspect your shipment promptly upon delivery.
