Important Installation Notice:
Do NOT reuse your factory trunk struts, shocks, dampers, or springs. This trunk is significantly lighter than the factory steel panel, and factory struts/springs are calibrated for that added weight. Reusing them puts excess force against the underside of the lid, which can cause the trunk to bulge, bow, or crack over time. Reused springs can also prevent the trunk from closing properly or leave excessive panel gaps. For proper fit, function, and long-term durability, always follow VIS's recommended propless installation procedure.
